Artist Bio

Jasmine Myers is a multi-disciplinary artist whose career spans across fine arts, digital media, and design. From drawing, painting and character design, Jasmine’s artistic journey has evolved to include digital art, animation, UX design, gamification design, and graphic design. Her wide range of skills lets her combine creativity with practicality, creating designs that are both visually appealing and purposeful.

Jasmine completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts at OCAD University in Toronto, where she received a BFA in Experimental Animation. After graduation, she began her career as a UX designer with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), where she worked on products and also led projects for workplace learning and training. Her team was dedicated to helping improve user experience by including game elements in educational environments.

As a freelance designer, Jasmine worked on a wide variety of projects, including character designing for small businesses, creating comic strips, and designing a university textbook cover. Each project allowed her to gain new skills and explore different design disciplines, expanding her versatility as a designer. Recently, Jasmine had one of her most exciting collaborations with My Oral Village TM, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching financial literacy to illiterate and inumerate adults and women in rural communities. There, she helped create illustrations that became powerful learning tools for illiterate adults, using art as a bridge to empower and educate.

Jasmine is currently a junior designer at Canadian General Tower in Cambridge Ontario. She focuses on creating designs that are printed on PVC vinyl for pools and decking, gaining more experience in digital art, 3D modelling and printmaking. Jasmine strives to make unique and beautiful designs in the pool liner industry by using her skills of blending artistry with functionality. Whether in her personal creative projects, freelance work or her professional design roles, Jasmine is always trying her best to blend fine art and user-oriented design in every project she does, creating beautiful and functional works.
